Sweet Acres Inn Policies
Every guest is special at Sweet Acres Inn. Our goal is your comfort and relaxation and we look forward to sharing our lovely home with you. Please review these policies as by making a reservation with us you agree to abide by them.
Non-Refundable Reservation Fee - We charge a $35.00 non-refundable fee per room at the time you make your reservations. This fee will be deducted from the total due at the time of your arrival. If on the day of your reservation our local weather is forecasting extreme conditions you may cancel your reservation without penalty.
Smoking - Our Bed and Breakfast is 100% smoke free. Violation of this policy will result in a $250.00 professional restoration fee charged to your credit card.
Pets - Pets are not allowed in the guest rooms. The resident Pekingnese, Sebastian, doesn't like to share his home with other pets nor is he allowed in the guest rooms.
Children - No children under 12 unless you are renting the entire top floor of the inn.
Room Items - Bath, hand towels and wash cloths are furnished for each occupant in each room. If anything is missing when you arrive please inform us immediately. If anything is missing upon your departure we will assume you like it and are willing to pay for it. We will give you a courtesy call before charging you. We do request that guests utilize the special make-up removal towelettes supplied in each bath rather than the wash cloths.
Housekeeping - As a guest in our home we respect your privacy. If you want your bed made up or need fresh towels or any other supplies please inform Sue, otherwise we will not service your room.
Room Occupancy - Each room has a maximum occupancy of two people per bed. If the occupants in your room exceed this number there will be a $25.00 + tax charge per person.
Check-In - Check-in is between 4:00-6:00 p.m. Early and late check-ins are available. Please call in advance if you are unable to make your scheduled check-in time or need to schedule a different arrival time due to travel arrangements. We are flexible but we would really appreciate your cooperation as we are a very small inn and don't have a large housekeeping staff to turnover rooms.
Check-Out - Check-out is noon. We reserve the right to charge your card for a half day after noon or a full day after 1:00 p.m.
Service - Please remember that this is a family home and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Keys - Room keys that are not returned will be charged $5.00 each to your card.
Cancellation Policy - Since we are a very small B&B we depend on you honoring your reservations. We have a two week 100% cancellation fee policy. When you check in you are responsible for the room(s) that you reserved and for the number of guests that you originally placed the reservation for
Events - Event fees vary according to the size and type of event. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to schedule a special event.
Gift Certificates - Gift Certificates are payable in full when they are ordered non-refundable, not redeemable for cash and are subject to availability. Gift Certificates will expire five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Romantic Extras - Prior arrangements can be made for flowers, candy or other romantic extras to be placed in your room for that special occasion.
Dietary Restrictions - We will make every effort to honor dietary restrictions however we do need advance notice. Please advise us when you make your reservations.
Breakfast - Breakfast is the only meal served at the Inn and is included in the room price. There is no discount for not having breakfast. Please do not bring additional guests to breakfast unless you have notified us in advance. There is a $5.00 charge for each guest not staying at the Inn.
Accessibility - All of our rooms are on the second floor of the home and can only be accessed via stairs therefore they are not accessible by walker or wheelchair.
Technology - Wireless Internet Access is complimentary throughout the Inn. Please refrain from large downloads and streaming as a courtesy to your fellow guests and the business functions of the Inn.. We are not responsible for service outages provider maintenance, weather conditions or incompatibility with your electronic devices. Also please do not use cell phones or other devices in areas that may disturb other guests.
Registered Guests - You will be asked to provide a photo ID at check-in. Guests rooms cannot be transferred to another party without advance notification and permission from our reservation specialists.
In order to assure privacy and a relaxing atmosphere for our guests the Inn is closed to people who do not have a room. The Inn and its property are for the use of registered guests only. As previously mentioned, non-registered guests may join guests for breakfast with advance reservations.
We will make every effort to insure your comfort during your stay with us. We live on premises and can be contacted at 785-766-9003 in case of an emergency.
